Would this power source power a crock pot for 4-8 hours on a camping trip?
The battery in this (and other brands like it) is rated ~18 amp-hour which means is can provide 1 amp (at 12V) for 18 hours, or 2 amps for 9 hours, or 3 amps for 6 hours, etc. I'd bet a crock-pot needs at least 200 watts on low where that would drain this in about 1/2 hour. So to actually run something like that for 4 hours as you suggest would require batteries adding up to ~100 amp-hour capacity (which is at least 2 car-size batteries) and I'd suggest getting a power inverter with at least 600 watt capacity (that has a chance of running the crock-pot on high) if you're serious about such. Otherwise a generator may be cheaper/easier to carry while camping. If you still comfused, please check with our sales team for help. Thank you.
