Why is MWT component more suitable for distributed and household systems?

With the development of energy storage technology, the cost of distributed photovoltaic is reduced, and distributed photovoltaic becomes less and less dependent on the power grid. Distributed photovoltaic and household system will become the main form of civil power in the future. With the maturity of owners' cognition, power generation will inevitably become the main standard to measure the advantages and disadvantages of distributed photovoltaic and household system.

At the same time, the distributed pv household system is mainly combined with the building, which also requires the aesthetic degree, and correspondingly requires component manufacturers to produce more beautiful component products. By conventional crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules in the cell by electrode connection between the output and aesthetic all have certain influence, therefore, do not use electrode connection between cell, but use a metal conductive foil MWT components stand out.

The advantages of MWT components can be summarized as follows:

1. Higher component power: reduced frontal shading loss by about 3% and reduced series resistance by 70%, thereby increasing component power.

2. Component stability and reliability is better: to avoid the stress, poor soldering and cracking caused by high temperature soldering of the solder ribbon.

3. More power generation: The metal foil conductive circuit used additionally enhances heat dissipation and reduces the actual operating temperature of the module. In the same installation, the power generation is 2%~4%, which further improves the yield of the power station.

4. The appearance is more beautiful: eliminates the monotonous electrode appearance of conventional components, especially suitable for combination with the building.

5. More suitable for double glass structure: when the conventional battery is packaged in double glass, the battery will withstand greater stress than the single glass component, the risk of cracking and microcracking is greater; and the low stress advantage of the MWT double glass component more obvious.

As a result, MWT components will demonstrate greater application advantages in distributed and residential PV systems and the increasingly common integration of photovoltaic buildings.
