FAQ
It's been plugged in for 24 hours nearly and only has one green light, and 2 red lights. How long does this take to charge? Is mine defective?
Answer:
There is just the 2 red LEDs and 1 green one for the "charge level" indicators, correct? If so then seeing both red and the green LED come on when you push the test button does hint it is fully charged. If this is the first time you've charged it (where it can take 24 hours to charge), then I'd double check that it's full by pulling the plug on the charger and then push the test button again after 30 seconds. You should still get the 2 red LEDs, but probably not the green. If you have a volt-meter you can also check the battery voltage on the jumper cables, full is ~14V with the charger plugged in and without it plugged in it should drop to ~13V and hold there.
If you suspect the battery being bad, then the way to test it is with a known load and see how low the voltage goes. For example, I plugged in a spot-light that pulls ~4 amps and a good battery had the voltage drop to 12.4V instantly and very slowly dropped the longer I had it on (like after a minute only dropped to 12.3V). A bad battery instantly dropped to 11.2V and within 30 seconds went down to 10.5V. That's how you can tell if it's really bad. Please refer to the user guide or check with our sales team for help.
