UAV inspection and other intelligent means of operation and maintenance have also been introduced into the photovoltaic industry. According to the open data of Jingke Power, its intelligent UAV inspection can reduce the internal failure loss rate from 1.5% in 2013 to 0.3% in 2016, and increase the annual generating capacity by 24-60 million kWh. Taking a 50MW PV power plant as an example, the number of operation and maintenance personnel can be reduced from 12 to 6.
