The Efficiency Of Organic Flexible Photovoltaic Cells Up To 7.4%.

Organic Photovoltaic battery consists of one or more photosensitive materials sandwiched between two electrodes, which is called OPV battery.


Recently, foreign media reports, the Greek organic electronics technology development team (OET) said that the full volume of the volume of printed polymer based single junction organic photovoltaic (OPV) battery new efficiency record of 7.4%.

Flexible OPV batteries can be connected to a series of planes and surfaces to improve the form of consumer products. Applications range from lighting, display to electronic circuits, biosensors, wearable devices, IT and Internet of things applications.

Researchers from Osaka University recently announced a method based on AI to improve the efficiency of OPV.

Although organic photovoltaic technology has many potential applications, the reduction of rare metals and low efficiency gains inhibit large-scale commercialization.
