China Exported Solar Power Station Reached 11.335 Billion U.S. Dollars In 2017
- Mar 21, 2018 -

2017 China's solar power station exports amounted to 113.35 billion U.S. dollars, a slight decrease year-on-year. According to Sun Dongdong, OFweek's industry research center, the “centralization” effect of the global PV market is significant. In addition, China’s domestic market accounts for almost half of the world’s photovoltaic market, and digesting many domestic shipments is the main reason.

China Solar Battery Situation in 2016

In 2016, China's solar cell exports amounted to 11.338 billion U.S. dollars. Specifically, China exported 2.559 billion U.S. dollars of solar cells in 2016, accounting for 22.6% of the total, ranking first in exports and exporting 2.448 billion U.S. dollars in India. , accounting for 21.6%, ranking second in exports; exports to the United States 1.343 billion US dollars, accounting for 11.8%, ranking third in exports; the first three countries accounted for 56% of China's total exports, It can be seen that Japan, India and the United States are the major exporters of solar cells in China.

From the perspective of provinces and cities, China's solar battery exports in 2016 were mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other provinces. Specifically, in 2016, Jiangsu's solar cell exports reached 5.719 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 50.4% of the total. It ranks first in the province of exports and occupies half of the domestic exports; Zhejiang's exports amounted to 1.707 billion US dollars, accounting for 15.1% of the total, ranking second in exports; Jiangxi's exports amounted to 919 million US dollars, accounting for 8.9 billion US dollars. 1%, ranking third in exports; the first three provinces accounted for 73.6% of China's total exports, it can be seen that Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Jiangxi are China's major exporter of solar cells.

China Solar Battery Situation in 2017

From a country point of view, in 2017, China exported 3.395 billion U.S. dollars in solar cells, which accounted for 29.6% of the total, surpassing Japan’s number one in exports, and exported to Japan 2.065 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 18.2%. Retired to second place in exports; exported 669 million U.S. dollars in Australia, accounting for 5.9% of the total, ranking third in exports; and also exported 621 million U.S. dollars in the United States due to trade policy reasons (the 201 bill), which was a substantial increase from the previous year. In the downturn, the proportion fell to 5.5%; the first three countries accounted for 53.8% of China’s total exports. It can be seen that India, Japan, and Australia are the major exporters of solar cells in China.

From the perspective of provinces and cities, China's solar cell exports in 2017 mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and other provinces, specifically, in 2017, Jiangsu solar cell exports reached 4.67 billion US dollars, accounting for 41.2%. 18.3% year-on-year decrease, still ranking the first province of exports; Zhejiang's exports amounted to 2.155 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 19.0% of the total, up 26.3% year-on-year, ranking second in exports; Jiangxi's export volume exceeded The one billion US dollar mark reached US$1.067 billion, accounting for 9.4% of the total, ranking third in exports; the first three provinces accounted for 69.6% of China’s total exports. It can be seen that Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi are China's major exporter of solar cells.

How will the situation go in 2018? Let us wait and see.
