Solar cells first appeared as monocrystalline silicon solar cells. First: the difference in appearance

Crystalline silicon components: single block components are relatively high in power.  Under the same area, the installed capacity is higher than that of the membrane module. But the components are thick and fragile, high temperature performance is poor, poor light is poor, annual decay rate is high.


Thin film components: the power of a single block is relatively low. However, the power generation performance is high, the high temperature performance is good, the weak light performance is good, the shadow blocking power loss is small, and the annual attenuation rate is low. The application environment is wide, beautiful and environmental.


Third: manufacturing process


The energy consumption in the manufacturing process of polysilicon solar cells is about 30% less than that of monocrystalline silicon solar cells. Therefore, polysilicon solar cells occupy a large share of the total output of the global solar cells, and the manufacturing cost is less than the monocrystalline silicon battery, so the use of polysilicon solar cells will be more energy saving and environmental protection.
