What is the glass panel of the photovoltaic module?

The panel glass used in photovoltaic cell modules is generally tempered glass, which has low iron content, smooth surface or super-white suede. We also often refer to glossy glass as float glass, suede glass or calendered glass. The thickness of the panel glass we use most is generally 3.2mm and 4mm, and the thickness of the building-type solar photovoltaic module is 5-10mm. However, no matter what kind of thick panel glass, its light transmittance is required to be above 90%, the spectral response wavelength range is 320 ~ 1100nm, and the infrared light having a higher reflectance is higher than 1200nm.

Because the content of iron is lower than that of ordinary glass, the transmittance of glass is increased. Generally, ordinary glass is green from the edge. Because this glass is less iron than ordinary glass, the glass is more white than ordinary glass on the edge of glass. So this glass is very white.

Velvet means that in order to reduce the reflection of sunlight, the surface of glass becomes villous by physical and chemical methods, increasing the incidence of light. Of course, using the sol-gel nanomaterials and precision coating technology, such as magnetic spatter and double dip method, coating a layer of nanomaterial film on the surface of the glass, this coating glass can not only significantly increase the light transmittance of the panel glass by more than 2%, but also significantly reduce the light reflection, and there is a self cleaning function. It can reduce the pollution of rainwater and dust on the surface of the battery board, keep it clean, reduce light fading, and increase the power generation rate by 1.5%-3%.

In order to increase the strength of the glass, resist the impact of wind and sand hail, and play a long-term role in protecting solar cells, we have tempered the panel glass. Firstly, the horizontal tempering furnace heats the glass to about 700 °C, and then it is rapidly and evenly cooled by cold air to form a uniform compressive stress on the surface, and the internal tensile stress is formed, which effectively improves the bending and impact resistance of the glass. After the tempering of the panel glass, the strength of the glass can be increased by 4 to 5 times than that of ordinary glass.

How to distinguish the quality of photovoltaic modules.

1. Welding process. Look at the battery string welding when there is no leakage welding, this can be seen directly through the appearance.

2. The quality of the back pressure. Whether there is any unevenness in the pressure, or bubbles, wrinkles, etc. It is not difficult to find bubbles and wrinkles, as you can see in the sun.

3. Border quality. Is it strictly rectangular, and the error is not too big.

4. Conversion rate. High conversion rate is the guarantee of stable income! This conversion efficiency surface is invisible and needs to compare component parameters.

Summary: The component is an important part of the photovoltaic power station. Once there is a problem, the user's photovoltaic power station will not be able to generate electricity, let alone the benefits. Therefore, whether in the city or in the countryside, users must learn to self-identify the quality of the components, and put the first pass of the power station.
