1. Ordinary battery

The plates of ordinary batteries consist of oxides of lead and lead, and the solution is sulfuric acid. Its main advantages are voltage stability and low price. The disadvantages are low specific energy, short service life and frequent maintenance. The battery life is about 1 years.

2. Dry charge battery

Its full name is a dry-charged lead-acid battery, its main feature is that the negative plate has a high storage capacity, in a completely dry state, can save the obtained power within two years. When using, just add the electrolyte, it can be used after 20-30 minutes, and the battery life is about 2-3 years.

3. Maintenance-free battery

Due to its structural advantages, the maintenance-free battery consumes very little electrolyte and does not require supplemental distilled water for the service life. It also has the characteristics of shock resistance, high temperature resistance, small size and small self-discharge. The service life is generally twice that of a normal battery. There are also two types of maintenance-free batteries on the market. The first one does not require maintenance after the one-time application of the electrolyte at the time of purchase. The other is that the battery itself has been charged with electrolyte and sealed off when leaving the factory. The user cannot With the addition of liquid, the battery life is about 4 years.

4. Use and maintenance of photovoltaic cells

(3) For a photovoltaic battery that is charged for the first time after new installation or refurbishment, charge it for a long time. For initial charging, it should be charged at a current of 1/10 of the rated capacity. Before installation, it is necessary to measure whether the battery is sufficient. If the power is insufficient, please charge the battery for more than 8-16 hours in a sunny place or use the AC to fully charge the battery. The over-discharge should be strictly avoided. When charging normally with AC power, it is better to use a grading charging method, that is, to charge at a constant current with a large current at the initial stage of charging, to charge to a constant charging voltage, and to use a constant voltage floating charging method after a certain period of constant voltage.

(4) Keep the battery itself clean. The installed photovoltaic battery poles should be coated with Vaseline to prevent corrosion of the poles.

(5) Configure on-line monitoring and management technology for photovoltaic storage batteries, conduct on-line measurement and analysis of internal resistance of photovoltaic storage batteries, and timely discover battery defects and timely maintenance.

(6) Prevent the freezing and cracking of photovoltaic cells in winter, and avoid direct sunlight in summer. The photovoltaic cells should be placed in a cool and ventilated place.
