Application of photovoltaic power generation

1. Application areas

1) Household solar power: a. Small power supply 10-100W, used for remote and non-electric areas such as plateaus, islands, pastoral areas, border guard posts and other military and civilian life, such as lighting, television, tape recorders, etc.; b. 3-5KW home roof grid-connected power generation system; c. Photovoltaic water pump: to solve the drinking and irrigation of deep water wells in areas without electricity.

2) Traffic areas such as navigation lights, traffic/railway lights, traffic warning/signal lights, street lights, high-altitude obstacle lights, highway/railway wireless telephone booths, unattended power supply, etc.

3) Communication field: solar unattended microwave relay station, optical cable maintenance station, broadcast/communication/paging power system; rural carrier telephone photovoltaic system, small communication machine, soldier GPS power supply, etc.

5) Household lighting power: such as garden lights, street lights, portable lights, camping lights, mountain lights, fishing lights, black lights, tapping lights, energy-saving lamps, etc.

6) Photovoltaic power station: 10KW-50MW independent photovoltaic power station, wind and light complementary power station, various large parking plant charging stations, etc.

7) Solar energy buildings combine solar power generation with building materials, making the future large-scale buildings self-sufficient in power generation, which is a major development direction in the future.

8) Other areas include: a. Supporting with automobiles: solar vehicles/electric vehicles, battery charging equipment, automobile air conditioners, ventilation fans, cold drink boxes, etc.; b. Regenerative power generation systems for solar hydrogen production and fuel cells; c. Seawater desalination equipment power supply; d. Satellite, spacecraft, space solar power station, etc.

2. Advantages and disadvantages

1) Compared with commonly used power generation systems, the advantages of solar photovoltaic power generation are mainly reflected in:a. No exhaustion risk; b. Safe and reliable, no noise, no pollution, absolutely clean (no pollution); c. Not limited by the geographical distribution of resources, can take advantage of the construction roof; d. No fuel consumption and erection The transmission line can generate electricity on the spot; e. The energy quality is high; f. The user is emotionally acceptable; g. The construction period is short, and the time taken to obtain energy is short.

2) The disadvantages of solar photovoltaic power generation are mainly reflected in:

a.The energy distribution density of the irradiation is small, that is, it takes up a huge area; b. The energy obtained is related to meteorological conditions such as four seasons, day and night, and cloudy weather. The use of solar energy to generate electricity, high equipment costs, but low solar energy utilization, can not be widely used, mainly used in some special circumstances, such as satellites.
